The Sweltering Days of July....
Red, white and blue… patriotic music…flag-waving, fireworks exploding, kids running through sprinklers or jumping into the pool… picnics, bar-b-ques, fans, cool drinks and perspiration on the porch…..the height of summer…. The sweltering days that we long for all winter long – are now here! Time to enjoy all that summer brings. To all of our family and friends in the Caldwell, Idaho area…. We offer up our home, yard and front curb to watch the annual Independence Day Parade go by that is organized by the City of Caldwell…. Nothing like a little home town nostalgia to make you feel happy, and content in the moment… friends gather, treats are shared and water and ice tea (and coffee at our place) flow by the bucket full. Come join us on Tuesday, the 4th of July at 9:00am in the morning for some patriotic festivities…along with breakfast treats, fresh coffee, lots of water and the traditional sounds of patriotic/marching music…. We love this time of year. The YMCA is closed for the day, as are most other places in town. Find some time to slow down and enjoy “life” that is happening all around us. Summer brings a slower pace.... a slowing down of our exercise programs; so.....find ‘ease and comfort’ in your daily routines.....Just Breathe and remember why we display and wave our American Flag!
