After the 4th of July......

Summer is hot.... and slow....and a time to regroup.  Once the 4th of July activities are over... I always feel relaxed, or even depleted in some ways.  The excitement and build up to family gatherings, barbeques, vacations... tends to peak and's over...well, kind of...  It's like the "middle of summer"... we've worked so hard on our gardens and patios, now is the time to sit back and reap the rewards.​ enjoy it!

Find respite care for yourself this time of year... try not to over do it....peacefulness, relaxation, small group gatherings... be kind and gentle. Don't give up your exercise just yet... but it might be winding down to a walk after dinner, or a video on your computer screen when you get up in the morning. Whatever you do, breathe deeply, enjoy summer with its carefree spirit. Perhaps visit Hells Canyon Winery....for an "un-wined with yoga" classes (see any notifications from me or the winery on those dates.) Smile, find 'simple pleasures', enjoy the smell of sun-tan lotion and the buzzing of the bees... find. Bliss. Happy July.
