Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga......Uses the alignment principles and breathing techniques that we use in Traditional Yoga, to enjoy gentle movement through stretching to increase our flexibility and range of motion.  Class participants are seated in chairs to warm up and begin a breathing and flowing movement of modified yoga positions, without getting down on the floor.  We use the chair in standing poses to aid in balance and support as we move through many traditional yoga poses in a more modified flow, being sensitive to all participants needs and levels of ability.
