Rodeo Week

It's Rodeo week in Caldwell, Idaho. Remember, that with the price of an adult ticket for the rodeo, you can bring 4 children (12 years old or younger) to the rodeo on Tuesday (tomorrow) night.... family Night... and the YMCA is sponoring the Rodeo Round Up for kids before the 8:00pm start time with kid's activities.... there are junior rodeo events, concessions and all kinds of entertainment.

The Idaho State Fair is also going on this week and next.... lots of opportunities to do fun and exciting activities with your children or grandchildren before they head back to school in a few weeks. I like to call August.... "Vacation Month"... we have lots of people going on vacation with those kids - right beforethe start of school again.... it's those last minute travels and 'back to school" shopping which have tended to pull people away from their regular exercise routines. Don't forget to walk...come to the YMCA classes when you can (yes... our class numbers are down a bit this time of year).... keep moving and keep eating as healthy as we can. Yes...eat 'fair food' one night... but then jump back on the wagon and resume your healthy lifestyles. We are looking forward to cooler weather after Labor Day!. Have a wonderful and safe last few weeks of summer.
